Jeff Cutting

Chief Executive Officer


Jeff Cutting, Chief Executive Officer of the Education Advisory Group, has over a decade of experience in higher education, including serving at different times as a Director, Dean, and Vice President of Marketing, Admissions, and Enrollment. Mr. Cutting's experience includes tenures at colleges both small and large, not-for-profit and for-profit, as well as ones that are traditional and non-traditional in nature. He has worked with marketing budgets ranging from the thousands to the millions. His success in launching new programs, saving struggling ones, and developing new markets, as well as chairing institutional strategic planning, has provided him with the skills and experience to transform organizations.


John Bove, Ph.D.

Senior Associate


John Bove, Ph.D., is a Senior Associate at the Education Advisory Group, with over 30 years of management experience. A former School of Management Dean, John has also specialized in behavioral health policy and health care management for mental health and behavioral health organizations. John served as President of the Massachusetts chapter of the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI); and for 20 years as the Chair of the Board of Trustees at Taunton State Hospital (now president emeritus). He is the Vice-Chair of the State Mental Health Advisory Council for the Department of Mental Health, and has served as the President of the Friends of the Plymouth Clubhouse for the Mentally Ill. He holds Master's degrees of Management in both Health Care Management and Non-Profit & Public Organization Management, has taught grant writing and fundraising, and has lectured widely on terrorism and disaster management in health care facilities.

Joel Nitzberg, M.Ed., LCSW

Associate


Joel Nitzberg, M.Ed., LCSW, is an Associate at the Education Advisory Group and has been a social worker, community educator and senior faculty member. He has many years experience leading community and organizational development, including building partnerships between educational institutions and community resources. His skills include curriculum design, program creation, training, and management in areas such as transitions to college and workforce preparation. He is the former president of the National Community Education Association and co-founded the Coalition for Racial and Ethnic Justice and the Global Community Education Network. Mr. Nitzberg’s position on our team represents the lifelong learning focus of higher education, addressing the personal and professional continuing education needs of individuals.

Gloria Davila, M.Ed., MM

Senior Technology Associate


Gloria Davila, M.Ed., MM, is an Associate at the Education Advisory Group with over 15 years of experience in technology and education.  Ms. Davila directs technology-based services for EAG, including web development and institutional technology resource assessments.  She has served as Chief Technology Officer for Cambridge College and as Senior Business Consultant for Jenzabar. Ms. Davila has developed long-term institutional technology plans with budgetary scopes in the millions and has managed full departmental staffs in technology.  From databases, to web, to programing, to telephony, and security, her expertise covers a full spectrum of technology concerns in higher education.

Amy Max

Associate


Amy Max is an Associate at the Education Advisory Group.  Ms. Max has several years of experience serving as an admissions counselor and as an international student advisor.  She has worked extensively with graduate business and graduate engineering students. Her professional experience prior to higher education includes a tenure in event planning in the corporate sector. Ms. Max provides expertise supporting research, marketing, and web-based services for the Education Advisory Group. She also provides consulting services for international student programs and open house planning. Additionally, Ms. Max offers her expertise in an interim staffing capacity for Admissions departments.

Rick Walker, MA

Associate


Rick Walker, MA, is an Associate at the Education Advisory Group and a graduate of Fordham College and Trinity College.  He began his career as a journalist and moved into academia, becoming Associate Director of Communications and Director of the Speakers Bureau at the University of Hartford.  He went on to teach writing and rhetoric at the University.  He has been a professional writer and publicist  for more than 30 years, also serving Kaman Aerospace Corporation, Tai Soo Kim Partners Architects and others and has consulted to Central Connecticut State University (PDS Schools) and other higher education institutions.

Josie Duran

Associate


Josie Duran is an Associate at the Education Advisory Group.  She began her professional career providing support to the Executive Vice President of Enrollment and Marketing at Cambridge College. There, she managed a budget of $5 million and kept multiple marketing projects moving simultaneously and focused on task. Josie provides services in support of research, web design, and information management. Josie's strengths are in planning and project management. She provides consulting services in producing designs for business cards, proposals, presentations and training materials.
